Accept and Process Credit Cards Electronically

Today, consumers demand more flexibility in paying bills and in many cases, a credit or debit card is the main source of transactions. Electronic Payment Providers® (EPP) provides businesses with a powerful solution for credit and debit card acceptance that is optimized for the card-not-present environments.

The EPP Credit Card Processing Gateway is an Internet-based credit card machine with an enormous number of extra features. The Merchant Console contains the basic features of any credit card terminal. It is responsible for sales, voids, credits, settlements, and all type of other transactions on a customer's credit card. However, instead of conducting transactions through a machine, the merchant completes it online or via the telephone.

EPP's Express Payments Suite allows merchants to interface directly with their current software or batch upload commonly formatted files (comma- or tab-delimited) that contain transaction details to be processed by the system. This process allows the merchant to process transactions without having to key in every single transaction manually. Most important, this feature allows the EPP Gateway to exchange information with most popular accounts-receivable packages, meaning that all accounts-receivable information remains current automatically.

Whether the merchant needs to search for a recent customer or access a report of all the Visa-approved customers, the reporting option can perform the entire operation.

Recurring Billing
With no extra software required, the EPP Merchant Console allows the merchant to enter the names of customers for recurring billing. This database allows the merchant to charge on a daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly basis without having to re-enter the customer information every time.
